Chinese Premier Li Keqiang delivers last work report to the National People's Congress

China opened its annual National People's Congress (NPC) on Sunday (Mar 5) with outgoing Premier Li Keqiang starting the session. He delivered what would be his final government work report before he steps down and his address focused on a host of topics ranging from strengthening the nation's armed forces to prioritising economic stability after China's exit from its strict zero-COVID policy.
